From our gardens: early ferns

Jane's yard is beautifully maintained. She works tirelessly to keep it blooming and beautiful. Each section is an artistic expression using flowers and composition. She is very generous in sharing her yard with all her friends.

Mine on the other hand is a private ecosystem for me and my pets. I use compost and an occasional chicken for insect control. I love lizards and birds so it is hard to keep up the weeding by hand.

But we both love digging in the dirt and are the best of friends. I love to photograph the ever changing plants and wanted to share them with all interested in gardens.
